I really appreciate this series and if the Blu-ray version actually comes out I will accept it, but Funimation had a release date for this months ago to be released on Blu-ray and it never happened.

The chronicle is about a boy who knows a princess and both of them have this secret savor for eachother. The princess decides that she wants to enlighten the boy and asks him to meet him at some ruins, but things go abominable. She ends up losing all of her memories which are in the build of feathers and the boy goes on a quest to obtain them all wait on. So ends up meeting the dimensional witch who for a fee will send him to where he needs to go and hopefully net her feathers. In his case the fee is that no matter how many he collects, so no matter how distinguished of her memory returns to her, she will never remember him. Two other characters go along with him and a crazy adventure begins. (This is a rough summary since I am trying to sustain out potential spoilers) .

Is it worth having on Blu-ray versus DVD is probably the main quiz. I say yes do to it’s rich color detail and artwork. The anecdote is spicy, burly of fantasy and adventure. It is fairly terminate to the novel manga work done by Clamp who wrote many current stories such as Magic Knight Rayearth, Angel Links, Chobits, X, and xxxholic objective to name a few. This chronicle to me, and I really appreciate the works by Clamp, is unprejudiced far apt in comparison to the other stories they have written. It also has many of the characters from the different stories in it and for those who like Card Captor Sakura a very primary character is based off of her. While it might not be one of my top three animes it is in my top three for a must peruse on Blu-ray. Out of the 140 anime titles I acquire, I would fancy to gaze this in the plot I bear it was ment to be watched.

15MIN DANCE - Madonna teaches you the moves one by one, building together a longer routine. One thing that I savor about her teaching is that once she’s taught you a travel, she practices what I like to call ‘the transition’. This is where you practice the depart that comes honest before the original fade, as well as the modern proceed. Madonna and her group of exercisers - both male and female - utilize in a nice street-dance-studio-esque position. If that doesn’t state the scene, the floors are polished wood, and the walls are shaded red brick, with pillars and windows scattered throughout. It kind of reminds of the obsolete Ricki Lake sets (succor in the day!) .

In terms of instructor personality, Madonna is a breath of unusual air. She is relaxed, laid wait on, and interacts with the other exercisers in a ‘hey-wassup-mate’ manner. In addition, they also interact with her the same contrivance - giving a fun atmosphere; like being in a class, but not an low ‘whoop-it-up’ atmosphere like in Kathy Smith’s Timesaver Cardio. She says things like “Dis mah mama’s daynce!”, “I’m wi-choo, aight? ” and “C’mon y’all!” That certainly is refreshing compared to “Smile, you’re burning pudgy!” [Denise Austin], “Two more please!” [Tamilee Webb], and “OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!” [Kathy Smith]

For those of you who are absolute beginners to dance, you will collect this difficult. What I suggest you do is ignore the arm movements for the first couple of times that you try the DVD, and focus on the getting your legs good. Madonna moves through the moves pleasing snappy, only giving a couple of opportunities to learn the steps before incorporating them into the routine. She is superb at cueing, but not so friendly at teaching the moves.

One thing you need to recognize out for is that some of the turns and pivots might set pressure on your knees if you’re working out on carpet. I knew this before I did this workout since Juliane Arney warned me in QuickFix’s Cardio Hip Hop DVD, but Madonna doesn’t mention this in her DVD. Objective eliminate any turns and pivots if your knees are dodgy. Also, go easy on the head swinging during ‘The Snake’ travel, it could be quite easy to click your neck out if you don’t be careful.

The only reason why I didn’t give this DVD four stars is because I found Madonna’s other DVD, ‘African Beat - Latin Heat’ more fun.

A refreshing, intense, short workout that’s fun! Cheers!

I really like dance workouts, so I plan I’d check out this one. While this DVD is fun, you really aren’t going to rep distinguished of a workout. It lasts a miniature over 30 minutes (including warm up and wintry down), I consider, and is very coarse impact and the dancing is lifeless paced. I hardly sweat at all and suspect I burn less than 100 calories using it.

But one nice thing about this DVD is that Madonna and her background dancers are safe and interact with each other during the workout. You accumulate the sense that they all knew each other before creating the DVD. The dance moves are not at all difficult to learn, and a beginner could probably hold them up fleet - especially since the music is rather plain. The location and production are fine.

I exhaust this DVD on days when I don’t feel like exerting myself grand, or to loosen up after a strength training workout. For something slightly more intense, try Madonna’s African Beat, Latin Heat DVD.

This is hard to define but…A Medieval Myth in Set. First of all the “Laws of Physics” do not apply. Islands of rock drifting in location, horse drawn carriages yet they do a lot of fighting in Residence ships. You will ogle numerous Spot battles–sword fights all of which are well done. There is no fan service to train of.

As for myself this was a 3 1/2 star series. To begin with it is in a Widescreen format and comes in a thin pak with 2 DVD cases, one on each side of the DVD case.

The account line is about an Emperor who seeks nothing but power. He treats his subjects poorly and rules with an iron fist. Thus setting himself up for a rebellion lead by Micheal though I reflect it is pronounced Michelle. Micheal is swiftly defeated and is drifting when their set ship is rammed and being looted by pirates…enter Cleo. Now the moral coast begins…to fair what is faulty. To fulfill the long awaited prophecy. “When what was two becomes one”.

I will not insist you the whole yarn but this is not a stand alone series it is continuous. While there are a couple of flash backs there is nothing that takes away from this series. Most voices are nicely done and the quality of animation is excellent from open to carry out. While it does have CG it does not rely on it heavily and it blends excellently together. The storyline moves forward at a precise spin and introduces original characters which keeps you alive to.

This was a indicate I was tickled I bought and it has suitable replay value but 50 bucks is a dinky spendy. If you can accept it around 30-35 bucks it is a solid rob.

Now will you like it…..I do not know but I can pronounce you the type of series that I appreciate…which are things like..Trinity Blood..Dismal Blood Brothers..Hellsing..Jyu Oh Sei..Death Ticket though this is not as intense as those it is detached worth watching.

If for nothing else, I bought this because ‘Harima’s shriek actor was in it. Sorry to say, this reveal is not involving in the least - you’re better off buying a different anime. It is objective dreary.

And it’s about time, too! This was definitely one of Disney’s better shows in the early/mid-90s. Both kids and adults can bag a grand laugh out of this reveal and the humor should enjoy up well over the years, nothing too dated.

I hear that there won’t be any extras in this position, but for the chance to finally collect have of this series, I’m more than willing to forgive that. Especially when there’s also supposed to be captioning, surround sound and decent artwork on the packaging. Disney also apparently learned their lesson with previous DVD series releases and this time they’re including the pilot. Only the first 25 eps of season 1, though, so hopefully the second half will be along soon.

There’s always hope that the next half of the season will have the extras this one is lacking, but even without that, it’s mild more than worth the money to finally have Darkwing on DVD.

Recent conversation I had with a friend -

Me: It really was the best explain ever. Sadly, I haven’t been able to bring myself to gaze the rest of that DVD I got of the first season. I was so inflamed that they had assign the edited version of the first episode on the DVD. I mean sheesh! I have the unedited version on the new video release. What were they thinking of? Don’t they consider that people who seize the display do so because they actually want to explore it as it was?

Friend: What the hell? Why do they edit all the shows on DVDs these days? … Map to promote illegal distribution by driving people to P2P networks for the new versions.

I esteem this expose, I really do. I was on the list to be informed when it came out on DVD, and the dinky Amazon e-mailed re: its availability I placed my order. I was so mad when it came. The petite it arrived I popped it in and watched the two-part pilot episode.

I haven’t touched it since. I was so disheartened at the cuts that had been made (the entire opening high-tail sequence and assorted gags and dialogue throughout), I didn’t have the heart to go wait on to it and be disappointed again.

I don’t know *why* the cuts were made. I doubt it was to tone down any cartoon violence as other equally “violent” moments were left in. I suspect these were edits that were made when the point to was actually unexcited on the air, edits made due to time considerations and for more commercial site. However, the rotund footage should have been restored and included when Disney decided to release the prove on DVD.

I don’t want to be negative. I wouldn’t have reviewed except that, looking at what people have written, I behold that no one has mentioned the edits. Younger viewers, people who didn’t scrutinize the reveal when it first came out or who didn’t leer it on video, many not even be aware. Unruffled, fans should know that the demonstrate has been tampered with before they pick it.

5 stars for the current television note, but 3 stars for the DVD release.

I like Howard Hawks’ films…Bringing Up Baby, His Girl Friday, Red River, and Rio Bravo are astounding pieces of entertainment. As I was watching Australia, the original Baz Luhrmann movie with Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, I kept thinking…man, Baz must really worship Hawks’ movies, too.

As evidenced by the films above, the mismatched couple who fight and fight until they realize they’re perfect for each other (seek Mighty Ado About Nothing, Taming of the Shrew, and Moonlighting as other examples of the design) and the group of underestimated misfits who advance together to fight unfavorable are two titanic elements worn again and again by Hawks. Throw in a bit of John Ford’s The Searchers and its hard survey at racism leading to inhuman deeds and mix well and you have…Australia.

The scrape current audiences may have with Luhrmann’s fresh movie is it’s very, very earnest. This is straight ahead sage storytelling with its heart on its sleeve and hat and boots with never a wink to the crowd in the theater to say “ain’t these people quaint”. You either take in or you don’t. If you do, like I did, you’re in for a hell of a plod.

This, I feel, is the flip-side to The Sunless Knight. Superb and faulty are trapped in something akin to a battle and an embrace in Nolan’s Gotham City. You root for Batman, but he does stuff that is on the deplorable side of freedom and civil rights. The Joker is pure crazy, but he’s the most mesmerizing character in the film. In Australia, there are edifying guys and terrible guys and you are either really excellent or twirl your mustache unpleasant. The main villain actually may be a bit too two-dimensional in that aspect, but it didn’t damage my overall enjoyment.

Why? Well, yarn melodrama is hard to pull off…I’m talking about the precise stuff here. The fresh BBC production of Bleak House is a tall example. There are very first-rate and very, very abominable people in that memoir, but the acting is so fabulous you rarely if ever bag yourself rolling your eyes (like whenever I’ve watched Smallville…see: dreadful legend melodrama) . Kidman and Jackman sell their characters…the displaced Englishwoman and the rough-hewn “Drover”. They are thrown together impartial to, initially it seems, thwart a foul cattle baron from monopolizing the beef industry in the country. But the other astronomical sage, the main one in fact, centers around Australia’s “lost generation”. These were Aboriginal children who were fathered by white men who didn’t claim them. They were taken by the government, the mothers had no rights, and handed over to the church to be taught to “act white” and then work in the servant class. Nullah, played by the extraordinary child actor Brandon Walters, is one of these “creamies” who has been hidden on the ranch now owned by Lady Sarah Ashley (Kidman) . Lady Ashley discovers what is going on, is frightened by the law, and works to preserve him hidden as well. Why the Drover cares so grand about Nullah becomes certain later in the film (no, it’s not what you deem…that would be too easy) and Jackman’s experience with stage and musical work does him proud here. He can do earnest better than almost any actor alive when he needs to and his later expend of the f-word (the only curse I can remember from the entire film) hits so hard, in impartial the fair emotional moment, that it kills. Russell Crowe was originally cast as the Drover but backed out. If Crowe had done the film, and I have liked him in other things…the Napoleon-era British navy film that I can’t remember the name of factual now, it would not have worked. Crowe never loses that bit of edge and the Drover, at one point, really has to fully demolish down and become completely vulnerable. Jackman shines at that point.

Anyway…a warning, the movie is long 2 hours and 40something minutes, but I didn’t realize that until I had left the theater. I saw it alone…I was out of town at a pediatrics meeting…and that’s a fine thing. I didn’t have to mask from Holly the few times the movie hit me a bit too hard and do that cough-throat clearing thing we dudes do to shroud up a stray wobble.

I was looking forward to seeing this movie when it was release unhurried last year given all the hype, and was not dissappointed!

Director, Baz Luhman, has served up a slab of nostalgia ala Australian style with all those pleasing elements we admire from films of the 40’s and 50’s, breathtaking, sweeping landscapes, elegant costumes and two sparkling actors in Kidman and Jackman who regain the essence of the film. It nostalgia in every sense of the word, in every frame. The acting style reminds us of Bogart, Grant, Bacall and Dunne. The fable is fable in every map and honest resplendent. I loved the salute to “The Wizard of Oz”a really nice touch!

Of course we all know how it’s going to slay. Watching Australia was like eating a box of Quality Street chocolates. Definite I know what I’m getting, but I detached cherish it.

For those of you who want to exhaust a few hours (and I mean a few; it’s almost 3 hours) being completely entertained then thisis the movie for you. I only wished they had inserted an interval on it’s theatrical release and made the whole event at the movies a steady nostalgic experience.

I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t like this movie, unless you unbiased aren’t up for a feel apt portray. I want to peer more movies being made like this!!!! Well done to all!!!

Mario Bava has taken a step serve to his fear genre and created a psychadelic, mysterious, sexy, sunless comedy. The film is TERRIBLY dated to the unhurried 60s/early 70s. (The girls survey like they fair walked out from the ‘Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls’ spot) . But DON’T let that end you from viewing this VERY fresh fraction of film!

The station is simple: A group of married friends are on a ‘getaway’ weekend and they earn themselves being killed off one by one. THATS IT! Sounds like a “Ten Tiny Indians” clone, proper???? Sinister! You have the brutality of “Fargo” in some spots and the wickedly Gloomy comedic moments as in “Pulp Fiction”. If you liked both of those films, you will appreciate this small seen Bava masterpiece. The music is TOTALLY 60s, the outfits are fair out of the Jimi Hendrix thrift store, and the stage sets gawk like a ‘hippie’ Brady Bunch status. Its a FUN movie!

Without a doubt: This was Design before its time. Very delectable! Even though its not Alarm, (its more of a mystery), this is a MUST for Bava fans!

Although Bava said this was his worst film, “Five Dolls…” is now enjoying a great deserved re-appraisal. When I saw a washed-out 35mm print some years ago, I was inclined to agree with the director’s belief, but the DVD release has laid any doubts I may have had to rest. The unusually framed compositions, frenetic zip-panning, intrusive zooms and gaudy colours give the film a psychedelic Eurotrash ambience that is difficult to resist. The unconvincing characterizations and hackneyed spot are lost in a welter of striking incidental details: hundreds of glass baubles rolling down a staircase and into the bloody water of a suicide victim’s bathtub, being a particularly impressive example. The kitschy easy-listening soundtrack compliments the visuals perfectly, humorously underscoring the hanging of the corpses in the freezer with childishly horrible fairground music. The English dubbed track seems suffers from occasional irritating crackles, so I suggest you delight in this garish “10 Small Indians” variant in Italian with English subs. Riddled with loose ends, it’s not one of Bava’s most sizable movies, but it’s by no means devoid of the classic, recent touches that are associated with his name.

But first, here’s a diminutive backstory. ZIM was on the verge of being cancelled by the time the second season was started. The first season ended with TAK, and the first seven episodes of season two were already being attractive. Then Slit pulled the go on the indicate. But not after one last episode Jhonen proposed to do to ruin the series with a bang. So, ‘The Most Evil Xmas Ever,’ which was scheduled to be made come the destroy of season two, was pushed up and made, thus explaining Minimoose’s unique appearence. Minimoose did have an introduction, but it was never completed. So ‘Xmas’ aired, and the remaining six completed episodes were shown around the world, but not here in the US. And now, we can finally perceive them. Gawk Dib conjure up the faded being Mortos der Soulstealer! MARVEL at the unsuitable pig girl that is Gaz! GASP at ZIM eating waffles for eleven whole minutes!

There will be commentary for almost all episodes, and also the animatics of course. But I hope they include some of the artwork, scripts, and other things they had completed for the incomplete season two episodes. There were at least ten that were at least laid out. Four episodes even got recorded: “Return of Keef,” where Keef makes a triumphant return, “Mopiness of Doom,” where Dib tries to do Precise science, “Simon Says Doom,” where ZIM babysits kids, and “Nubs of Doom,” Minimoose’s premier episode. But, these are unbiased things I hope are on the DVD. I didn’t want to accumulate anyone’s hopes up if they’re not.

This DVD is very generous because it has unaired episodes such as

But beyond the presentation, these films (particularly The Man Who Planted Trees, Illusion? and The Powerful River) earn to the heart of environmentalism and stewardship. They are not shrill or glib, not reactive or stalely didactic — these films are awash with animism and life, each using this original medium to exhalt the beauty of creation, and to exemplify the folly of excess. Back’s impressionistic style flows like a river itself, rolling and curious and churning, urging us to face the simple truths of our abuses, and to judge the possibility of a more harmonious course.

I’ll terminate there, because I’m jumpy I’m making Back’s work sound contrived. Walt Disney once said that a suitable inviting film could not be keep into words, and he was true. I can only hasten you to seek these truly much films, and to part them with the youngest generations.

I have heard of Frédéric Back’s The Man Who Planted Trees before by virtue of it being an Oscar winner for Best Fascinating Short in 1988, but have never seen it. When I found out that there was this DVD situation collecting all his work, I was quite keen about it. It was expensive, but I ordered it anyway. And then I was left thinking or the next three weeks if my money was dumped into the drain for something I didn’t know what to ask.

Since receiving my copy of The Man Who Planted Trees DVD, I have watched all the attractive shorts, and bonus features. I am so amazed by his work — both as an animator as well as an environmental activist.

When I was watching the films, I was thinking that this guy is carzy — To mediate that Wait On hand-drew and aged coloured pencils to complete every individual frame (background and foreground) of the film is unprejudiced astounding. His films play with a continuous wander of images that is very powerful like a stream of consciousness projecting life at it’s fullest — alert, active and vibrant. And to add to that liveliness is the suitably worn Impressionistic style with the rich beauty, movement and colour.

To some extent, as I watched the “The Man Who Planted Trees” and “Crac!” I was reminded of Winsor McCay’s work such as “Gertie the Dinosaur” (1913) . Here is a man so dedicated to his art. When McCay drew 10,000 ink-drawings to execute the Gertie depart, Befriend spent five years doing some 200,000 drawings to execute his 33-minute The Man Who Planted Trees film.

That’s what I call dedication and passion to his work and art. And you don’t arrive across people like that very often.

So is the DVD space worth buying? I bear it was money well spent.

The toughest thing about ‘Frank Herbert’s Dune’, presented on the SciFi Channel in 2000, was that all Dune fans knew, fair KNEW, there’d be comparisons made between it and David Lynch’s theatrical release. Although the strong casting, new-found special effects and costumes made Lynch’s version a film to be reckoned with, it level-headed felt unbalanced and lost amidst the deeply textured background world that Frank Herbert created.

The 2000 miniseries gave us more of the actually pages of Dune translated to the shroud, but it’s acting, costumes and special effects were lacking.

So, to my surprise, what should appear but a modern miniseries with reprising roles and some fresh cast members for Frank Herbert’s Children of Dune on the SciFi Channel. Goodbye comparisons. We entered novel screenplay territory since no theatrical version of any other Herbert novels has ever made it out to the public.

A astounding presentation, Frank Herbert’s Children of Dune combines the Dune Messiah and Children of Dune novels into this modern miniseries and does so with one blooming motion. Well, almost handsome.

I don’t know WHY the SciFi Channel feels the need to maintain a “vast name” in these films. William Distress didn’t assist the first miniseries with his ‘Hurtful’ acting. Likewise, I felt Mrs. Sarandon did nothing to assist in the release of this film/mini. Her character was cardboardish and unimaginative. No action intelligent her at all. Nothing that seemed to encourage depart the storyline along.

Uncharacteristically (and thankfully) Alec Newman reprises his role as Paul (and the recent Preacher) and does so with powerfully strong acting (the staunch opposite of what I saw from him in the novel miniseries) . Julie Cox was amazing as Irulan, Jessica Krige excellently portrayed an aging Lady Jessica, and James McAvoy WAS Leto II. Jessica Brooks balanced the role of Ghanima perfectly by playing Leto’s twin sister. And Daniela Amavia was P-E-R-F-E-C-T as the possessed and tortured Alia (preborn sister of Paul) . She’s also quite an atractive lady.

The costumes (thankfully) were also ‘toned-down’ a bit, so the substantial head-dresses and triangular suit attachments are gone. The budget for the special effects were increased (to colossal advantage) . Loved the worms, the thopters, Alia’s temple. Amazing cinematography utilizing blue screens.

And the Colossal shocker: the musical gain! Brian Tyler! You the man! A accurate triumph as far as scores go, the music presented in this miniseries is clear to acquire the soul fly, or plummet into the Gigantic Erg as appropriately presented by Mr. Tyler’s fetch.

This miniseries is the original 5 star TV production for the SciFi Channel, and rightfully so. A presentation worth owning…on DVD.

If I were to resolve the best film adaptation of Dune, this miniseries would obtain, hands down. Not because it’s accurate to the book, not because of special effects, but it would gather because entire series is endearing and the performances of the cast are memorable. This production took characters that were hard to recount to because of their super-human abilities and turned them into people we could care about. What sets this treatment of Dune apart from all others is the dynamic performances of the cast.

Alec Newman *owns* the role of Paul in CoD. While his performance seemed shakey at times in Dune, he embodies the majesty of Muad’Dib and convincingly portrays the fragment of a tormented monarch in this sequel.

Julie Cox steals the present away everytime she appears. Some complained that the script took (major) liberties concerning Irulan–mainly by giving her more appearances and lines than the book ever afforded her, and making her more likable–but I say anything that gives Julie Cox a chance to appear on hide to flex her acting muscles is a suitable decision. She plays a very convincing imperial princess with her body language (she has probably the best posture I’ve ever seen, but she absolutely shines portraying a fiery personality trapped by her site in life.

As with Alec Newman, Barbara Kodetova reprises her role with remarkable more maturity than in the first series. In CoD, Alec and Barbara both advance benefit with stronger performances and better chemistry.

Speaking of chemistry, however, there was so grand of it between the actors playing the twins it was fantastic to me that they weren’t dating in valid life. James McAvoy, in particular, brings so distinguished spirit and warmth to his role that he brought much-needed levity to the role of Leto by adding humor and warmth to his performance. Jessica Brooks brings thoughtful, pensive Ghanima to life respectably well. It should be eminent that the twins are portrayed as teenagers in the miniseries, which I reflect a wise decision to design them more relatable and easier to contemplate for first-time viewers.

Though I had loved Saskia Reeves’ Jessica, Alice Krige takes a turn in Lady Jessica’s shoes very well. She fleshes out the section of the Atreides matriarch and delivers a very reserved performance, which is befitting the cautious Jessica in the book. Edward Atterton (who played Arthur in TNT’s ‘The Mists of Avalon’ and has appeared on shows like ‘Firefly’ and ‘Alias’) plays a wonderfully convincingly warrior-mentat. Daniela Amavia’s gut-wrenching, explosive performance as Alia was highly titillating to behold, and her last scene brought so great more emotion to the events than the book afforded it. Daniela, Alice, and James came together so well in Alia’s last scene that many people who saw it were teary-eyed after watching it–it had me in tears. The book, however, didn’t arrive anywhere arrive that level of emotional impact.

I concept Susan Sarandon’s performance was tolerable–nothing great–but I consider it is unfair to blame her. She was horribly miscast. In a prove where almost everybody had an accent of some sort, Susan’s thoroughly American accent was completely out of set. Add that on top of the fact that her performance wasn’t as strong as some of the others, and no wonder she’s being singled out as the dilapidated link. She’s unprejudiced not at home playing a science-fiction villain.

As far as costumes, special effects, and props go, I enjoyed each of them immensely. The costumes are calm a bit quirky, but they are great more subdued and realistic than what they were in CoD’s predecessor. Where as the costumes in Dune were downright ‘kooky,’ the clothes in CoD could be considered ‘fasion.’ The special effects were very well done for a television feature. ‘The Voice’ was remarkable cooler in CoD, with soft growls and whispers overlapping over each other on top of the warped speaking to provide a richer, more majestic ‘Voice’ better capturing what it was in the book. The glow-in-the-dark blue eyes are traded in for more subdued blue eyes that are smart without looking radioactive. Everything comes together and molds comfortably with the region create, which boasts soft, warm colors and lighting that manufacture the places perceive like they exist in a perpetual sunset. Indeed, the overall peek is a very stunning one.

The true star of the present, however, was the accumulate. Brian Tyler offers compositions so energetic, radiant, and stunning to hear that he gives Arrakis the heart it sometimes lacked in the book. As with Tolkien and his Lord of the Rings, the region and the characters sometimes were a petite dry when it came to obliging ol’ fashioned emotion. This production would not have been what it was without its music. Brian Tyler does for CoD what James Horner did for Substantial and what Howard Shore did for the Lord of the Rings. Towards the slay of the first installment of CoD, a montage of events play out to a song Tyler created called ‘Inama Nushif,’ and my husband heard the television and wandered from his room to arrive ogle what I was watching because he said the music was, in his words, “so wintry.”

What this adaptation does with its casts’ tour de force performances and Brian Tyler’s soaring come by is create Children of Dune and its characters relatable, memorable, and human, and that is why it was such a resounding success.
